New Mothers Prayer for April 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says in Romans 8 that we are more than conquerors through You. Not just people who barely make it. More than conquerors.
This month, I have felt like I was barely making it. Limping through long nights. Running out of sleep, patience, and strength.
But the winning is not up to me. You have already overcome. I am not the engine. I am attached to Your engine. The power and the momentum are Yours.
Help me move through today as someone who is already on the winning side, even when I do not feel like it. The tiredness is not the final word. The moments when I fall short are not the final word. Your word is the final word, and You have already won.
Carry me forward in that.
Amen.
