Father, Your Word says the blood of Christ is precious. Not common. Not cheap. It cost everything.
I have treated Your forgiveness as if it were easy. Like I bring my mess to You and You just brush it off. But it was not easy. It cost Jesus His life.
That does not make me crawl away in shame. It makes me kneel in thanks. The price was paid in full. And I did not pay it.
Today, while I sit here tired and holding my baby, help me feel the weight of what You gave. Not as guilt. As wonder. Your blood is precious. And so am I, in Your sight. Both true at once.
Amen.
