New Mothers Prayer for April 13th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that Your beloved is like something precious we carry close, even when it reminds us of suffering and death. That is a strange thought for a tired day. But it is true.
I do not just love a Christ who wins. I love a Christ who suffered. He chose a body that hurt. He chose quiet work, tired feet, and meals that got interrupted.
Because He was willing to be small, I am less afraid of my own smallness. Let me carry Him close today, not like a prize, but like a quiet treasure hidden in my pocket.
Amen.
