New Mothers Prayer for March 28th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Your love is too big to know. Too big to measure. Too big to run out of.

I have been living like Your love was a set amount I could use up like I should not ask too much. Like, there might be a limit.

There is not. Your love is bigger than what I can understand. It does not run out when I am tired. It does not shrink when I am far away. It is wider than this long week.

Let me ask freely today. For patience I have not earned. For strength I cannot make on my own. For love toward the people in my house I did not feel this morning. You give and give without running dry.

I will not be small with You. I will ask.

Amen.
