New Mothers Prayer for March 19th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, I do not need loud faith. I need faith that looks in the right direction. Toward Your word. Toward who You are. Toward Jesus.

When I look in the mirror, I lose strength. When I look at my long list of things to do, I lose strength. When I look at the screen and compare my life to someone else's, I lose strength.

But when I look at You, faith comes back. Not like a flood. Just enough for today.

Abraham was strong in faith because he kept looking at what You said and what You can do. Help me do the same.

When I feel my faith slipping, show me where my eyes have wandered, and help me turn back to You.

Amen.
