New Mothers Prayer for February 21st

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Hebrews 13:5 says You will never leave me. That is Your word. It does not change when I am tired. It does not fade when I am weak.

I have been wobbling between Your promises and my feelings. On good days, I believe them. On hard days, I act like they need to be checked again.

But what You said is what You said. Whether the baby slept or not. Whether I prayed well or not. Whether my body felt right today or not.

Pull me back to Your word, not to how I feel tonight. I will not keep going over it. I will let what You said stand.

I am so tired and so grateful at the same time. Hold me in that quiet trust. Let it carry me into sleep.

Amen.
