New Mothers Prayer for February 4th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, I have not run away. I am just tired and distracted, and many days I forget You for hours.

But You do not forget me. That is the difference. Your love is not a mood. It does not rise and fall with how well I prayed this week or even if I prayed at all.

I do not need to perform for You to love me. I just need to come back. Again. And again. I do not need a speech. I am here now. That is enough.

Bring me home today. Not with thunder. Just with the quiet, steady truth that I am Yours, and I did not earn it.

Amen.
