New Mothers Prayer for January 30th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says You speak in a quiet whisper, not always in the loud and big things. Right now, I have only been listening for the baby monitor.
Quiet me enough to hear something else today. A nudge to call my mother. A whisper to stop scrolling and close my eyes for ten minutes. A small invitation to read one verse instead of three.
I do not need a dramatic word. I just need to notice how You move in this small house.
When You move, help me move with You. Not in big strides. Just the next small step. I trust You to tell me what it is.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
