Father, You promised in Psalm 91 to deliver me from hidden traps. The traps in my life right now are quieter than I expected. Not big temptations. Just small loops of thought that catch my foot.
The comparing scroll. The voice that says I am not doing this well. The worry about her weight, her sleep, her milestones.
Deliver me from these, not by removing them entirely, but by giving me eyes to see them as traps. Then give me the will to step around them rather than into them.
When I do step in, set me loose quickly. Do not let any small lie hold me for long. Your truth is stronger than my late-night thoughts.
