Kids Prayer for December 25th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, merry Christmas, Lord Jesus.
Isaiah said a child would be born for us, a son would be given. You are that gift.
The presents under the tree are fun, but the real gift is You, born in a manger and living in the world. Thank You for coming for me.
The wrapped boxes will be opened and forgotten. But the Child in the manger is forever. My thank-You to You is bigger than any gift I will open today.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
