Kids Prayer for December 16th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You told us in Isaiah 53 that Jesus would be despised and rejected. He would know what sorrow feels like. The same Jesus we sing about at Christmas was later left out. Nobody wanted Him. So when nobody picks me, when I am not invited, when I feel all alone — He gets it. He was that Baby in the manger. He was that Man on the cross. He is the same Person. He came to bear our sorrows and our rejection. I am not alone. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
