Kids Prayer for November 10th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You said to take Your yoke and learn from You, because You are gentle and humble. A yoke is the wooden strap that ties two oxen together so they can pull the heavy load side by side. That is what it is like when I walk with You. We walk together. You set the pace. I do not have to drag the whole weight alone. When I feel worried or scared or just tired from the day, strap me in beside You. Help me stay close to You and let You carry what is too heavy for me. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
