Kids Prayer for October 28th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in John 1, we read that Jesus came to live with us. He did not stay far away. He came down. He wore skin like mine. He felt cold. He felt hungry. He felt tired. Thank You for that. It means You know what it is like to be me. You have actually been a kid. So my problems are not strange to You. You know how I feel. Your kindness is not a guess. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.

John 1:14For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
