Kids Prayer for September 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, Your Word says love thinks no evil. You want me to give people the benefit of the doubt. That is hard when my brother takes my turn or when someone says something mean at school. Guard my mind, Lord. Help me think the kind thing first. The mean thoughts come fast. Make the kind ones come faster. There is a race in my head, and the thought I let win is the one that crosses the line first. Lord, speed up the kind one. Amen.
