Kids Prayer for September 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, September starts today. That means new shoes, a new teacher, and new kids. You said You prepare my heart and give me the right words. So I do not have to walk in with my own little plan all by myself. You go ahead of me. The first day of school does not start when I get there. You started it already. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
