Lord, I cannot scrub my own heart clean. The bad thoughts come back. The mean words come back. Only You can make me clean from the inside. Do that today, please. Not just on my hands. Inside. Make a fresh place in there. Pour out the old water and pour in the new. You are the only One who can do this. Amen.
