Kids Prayer for August 9th

A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Lord, You said in Matthew 11, come to Me if You are tired and carrying heavy things, and I will give You rest. I am a kid. I do not work as Dad does. But I get tired too. From figuring out friends. From trying at school. From just trying. You said come. So I am coming. Take what is heavy. Give me Your rest. I bring my tired. You give me peace. Amen.
