Kids Prayer for July 28th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Dear God, the Bible says there was a time when I acted as if I did not need You at all. I was foolish and stubborn, like an animal that will not listen. That is a brave thing to admit. A lot of the time, I act like I know everything when really I am just a kid. Make me okay with not knowing. Make me okay with asking. You are not embarrassed by my dumb questions. You actually like when I bring them to You. So I will ask You stuff today instead of pretending. The not-knowing is part of being little, and being little with You is safe. Amen.
