Kids Prayer for July 22nd
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You said in Jeremiah 3 that You are married to Your people. You stay with us like someone who promised forever. I am just a kid. I do not know all about marriage yet. But I know what it feels like when someone says, "I will not leave You." That is You. Thank You for staying. Even when I wander, You do not leave. Pull me back gently today if I start to wander. I just want to live inside Your promise. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
