Kids
Kids Prayer for July 15th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Dear God,
Long ago, You told the priests to keep a fire burning on the altar day and night. They had to keep adding wood so it would never go out.
I want a fire like that in my heart for You. But I cannot keep it burning by myself. Holy Spirit, You are the One who keeps it going.
Today I will add something small. A thank-You. A Bible verse. A kind thing for somebody.
Even on days when I am tired and only have a little to give, You still use it.
Amen.
