Kids
Kids Prayer for June 2nd
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, inside me, there are two voices all day. One voice says, "Do what is easy. Do what feels good." The other voice says, "Do what is right. Do what You want." Strengthen the part of me that wants to follow You. Help me win the small fights, like when I want to give up on my homework or snap at someone I love. So that when the big fights come, I will choose the right way too. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
