Kids Prayer for May 31st
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, David was a king in the Bible and he still had days when he cried. He ran for his life and crossed a creek with tears on his face. If a king can cry, then it is okay when I cry too. Some days someone is mean to me. Some days I fail something and I want to quit. But like David, I do not have to stop. You walk with me through the water. You stay next to me when the day is hard. I can keep going because You are here. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
