Lord, when Jesus was arrested, all His friends ran away. They said they would stay, but they did not. I know how that feels. I told my mom I would tell the truth, then I made up a story. I said I would not get mad at my brother, and then I did. Forgive me, Lord. You never gave up on Your friends, and You do not give up on me. Help me keep the promises I make. Amen.
