Kids Prayer for March 21st
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, dear Jesus, You know what it feels like to be left alone. Your friends walked away from You. But Your Father was still with You. I have felt left alone, too when no one sits with me at lunch. When I am the last one picked for the team. When my best friend plays with someone else. Thank You for letting me know that I am not alone. You are with me, just like the Father was with You. Help me remember that today. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
