Kids
Kids Prayer for February 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, Your Word says people sing because of who You are. I want to be one of those people. Singing as I walk. Singing as I do my homework. Singing in my heart even when my mouth is closed. I love some of the songs at church. I do not love all of them. But I can sing with my life. When I do not feel cheerful, You can still give me joy. Make me the kind of kid who hums through the day, carrying a tune everywhere I go. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
