Kids Prayer for January 30th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, long ago You moved through the trees for David, and he learned to follow Your steps instead of rushing ahead. Help me hear when You are already moving. Sometimes I am supposed to act first, but I freeze because I am scared. Sometimes I am supposed to wait, but I rush ahead because I am bored. Teach me to listen for Your steps in the leaves. Then teach me to follow without arguing. Amen.
