Kids Prayer for January 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You chose David when he was just a kid watching sheep. He was the youngest, the smallest, and nobody thought he was important. But You picked him. I know I am young. I know I am small. I know nobody at church has given me a big job yet. But You see me. You can use me even now. Use me today, please. Even just for one thing. One word to a sad kid. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
