Kids Prayer for January 18th

A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Your Word says rest is waiting for Your people. I get tired too. There is so much to do. So many people to please. So many feelings all at once. You promise real rest at the end. Until then, give me little pieces of that rest now. A quiet five minutes. A deep breath in the bathroom at school. A nap on a Saturday. You know I need them. Amen.

  2. Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
  3. Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
