Dads
Dad’s Prayer for December 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says the mountains crumble, and the hills fall, but You never change. The things I thought were solid — my job, my plans, the way things have always been — are not as solid as they looked. You move what I thought could not move.
I have put my trust in things that shift. Help me put my trust in what does not move. You. Your love. Your promises. The mountains may fall, but You stand. The hills may crumble, but Your love holds.
Lord Jesus, You are the rock that never moves. Hold on to me while everything else changes. Let my heart be steady because my anchor is in You.
Amen.
