Dads
Dad’s Prayer for December 11th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that You are faithful, You call Your people, and You finish what You start. I hold on to that today.
I have not been steady in prayer. I drift. I come back. I drift again. But Your call does not fade when I do. You keep working when I show up and when I do not.
So I come back now, not in panic, but in trust. You are not shocked by my dry seasons. You are not giving up on me because I have been slow to return.
Lord Jesus, You are faithful. Finish what You started in me, even at Your pace, even when I wish it were faster. I trust You more than I trust my own effort.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
