Dads
Dad’s Prayer for November 30th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says You can give much more than what I have lost. I hold on tight to the things that went wrong. The bad investment. The job that did not work out. The relationship I gave myself to that fell apart. Those cost me something real. I am not pretending they did not.
But they are not the end of Your provision for me. You are not limited by my mistakes. As this month ends, help me let go of the wrong turns I made. Not so I can forget them. So I can stop letting them keep me from trusting You with what comes next.
Lord Jesus, You restore things. Help me actually believe that. Not as a nice saying. As the truth I build my life on. The losses are not Your last word over me.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
