Dads
Dad’s Prayer for June 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that when we are weighed, we are found wanting. That is true for me. By any honest measure, I fall short. But the good news is not that I am enough. It is that Christ stands with me. With Him, the verdict changes. Help me hold both truths together. Keep me from pride. Keep me from despair. Let me be honest about who I am and grateful for who Christ is. That is the right way to live today.
Amen.
