Father, Your Word says, "The kindness and love of God our Saviour." Titus 3:4. Kindness. Not just power. Not just rules. Kindness toward me. I have thought of You as strict, like a boss waiting to catch me messing up. That is not who You are. You are kind. You are near. You are not keeping score against me. Help me remember that today. When I make a small mistake, You are still kind. When I fall short in something I care about, You still love me. Your kindness does not depend on how well I do. It is where my work begins. Amen.
