Dads Prayer for May 24th

A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Lord, You did not turn away my prayer. You did not pull Your mercy from me. That is what I want to say about this week. Even when the answer was not what I hoped for, the relationship was not broken. The line between us is still open. Today, when I do not get what I wanted, the line is still open. Your mercy is still here. My prayer was not turned away. Amen.
