Dads
Dads Prayer for April 26th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You said, 'This do in remembrance of me.' My memory is broken. I hold on to every hurt. I let Your kindness slip away. Turn that around in me. Even now, without bread and cup, help me remember. Your body was broken to pay for my sin. Your blood was spilled to seal my forgiveness. Bring back what I forget in the rush of a work week. Make this day different from the inside out. Less defending myself. More thanks. More patience with people who owe me nothing compared to what You forgave. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
