Lord Jesus, You said Your name means You save Your people from their sin. I keep treating my sin like it is not a big deal. I keep saying Your name like it is just a habit. But the thing I keep making excuses for is killing the life You want for me. The name I say without thinking is the only one with the power to undo it. Rescue me from the specific failure I am thinking of right now. You know which one. Not because I deserve it. Because that is what You do, call me by name, and pull me out of it. Amen.
